Bright boats and gentle mists

I was perusing The Washington Post’s Lifestyle section yesterday when I came across a pretty slideshow on spring travel to Vietnam. Asian culture is so diverse. Looking at the photos, it feels like if I were to go there I couldn’t even fully absorb everything before me. Well, I suppose somebody who’s been stuck on the East Coast their entire life would feel that way about any sort of travel.

Bright boats and gentle mists adorn Ha Long Bay in Vietnam.

A clay-whistle seller makes a transaction in Hoi An, which has survived centuries of war and occupation unscathed.

A vegetable seller crosses the Japanese Bridge.

Check out the other photos in the Post’s slideshow.
