As I learn the history of my own city, I’ve begun appreciating others much more. I would love to spend a month in each of these classic cities.

Sunday mornings are lovely with a cup of coffee and wanderlust over my favorite bookmarked Etsy sites.

I do not have a Tumblr, but I find myself perusing random Tumblrs more and more these days. I find beautifully striking pictures on that platform that I would not find elsewhere, and for that I am glad it exists. These are just a few places where I would love to spend a lazy afternoon by the water:
The only downfall of Tumblr is that many people don’t post photo sources or locations. And sometimes images are Photoshopped. I found all three images and more from BURRIS.
I can dream with the best of them…
Sunshine. Clear skies. The sound of water lapping against the decks. Bright storefronts. Lazy, hazy days.
The smell of mountains. Warming green shutters juxtapose a stark countryside and cold, hard stone buildings.
Orange skyline. Cold, moist sand on bare feet. Floating clouds carry dreams. Peace come over you.

A silent walk on a dusky evening with dirt and leaves underfoot.
I want to reach out from an idling gondola and touch this brick facade.
The smell of morning, dew at my fingertips, Matsuo Basho on my mind.
