New slate

Once in a great while, the slate can’t be wiped clean until a good cry comes and goes. Unfortunately, that cry isn’t always easy to muster. Instead, it just builds and builds for a while, waiting to be let out.

Morning mists

In my usual pre-coffee, half-awake daze, I stepped out onto my front porch this morning and saw a thick fog had descended. I really like morning fogs if only because their dream-like nature makes me feel suspended in that precious time where it is not yet a new day filled with work and responsibility.

Sheer mess

I like metal framed beds, reading chairs, excess pillows and blankets, and sheer fabric hangings.

Now that I live in a studio, I kind of miss the bedroom concept.
